People would normally say I’m a snob, naive, any term you can think of about indifference:  that’s me in the eye of many, few knows the real me.

Bernadette del Rosario Reyes.  Born on July 21,1989, calculating from there, I’m 21 years young.  I’m the youngest and the only one left single of the three daughters of my parents.  Originally, I’m from Bulacan but then I had my real life at Lipa, Batangas.  I had my college degree at De La Salle Lipa under Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Business Management and eventually got employed by a sponsor of a scholarship program there.

I’m now in a remittance company in Makati under the Treasury Department.  Aside from that, I’m busy having my Post Grad Diploma in Management Program at De La Salle University.  I decided to have this while I’m young and still can afford, who knows by tomorrow I might not be able to have the chance to grab this opportunity.

Probably, looking at my past experiences, I would havfe a wonderful future, a wonderful 2020.  I’m seeing myself enjoying the fruits of my labor, living a normal and happy life, with my own family, with a new job, with new friends, with new everything (but of course not forgetting my past).

Bartending is one of my frustrations way back in college.  Hope I could learn this wonderful skill.  It looks easy to do but in reality, it’s kinda hard especially for a kinda clumsy individual.

Web 2.0 is a product of the ever developing technology.  It allows users from all over the globe to interact and exchange ideas even physically far from each other and also, it serves as storage for files and software.

 

Cloud Computing and its Advantages

 

Cloud computing is where data, resources, software and the like are stored and made available for anyone who can access the internet.  It plays a very big role in today’s run of life where almost everyone is into using technology for almost anything especially for students and employers/employees.

 

Blog and its Advantages

 

Blogs for are the modern way of expressing feelings and ideas by an individual.  It can be a modernized book, magazine, and diary.  I can even say that it is better than those traditional scriptures because wuth blogs, with the power of the internet, everyone around the globe can see and read and comment and share.

 

Social Media

 

Social media as a product of Web 2.0 is a way for people (internet users), to provide, share, and exchange information throughout the whole media, it’s social media afterall.  Personally, I can say that this is one of the easiest way of being educated with the most recent information because it’s inexpensive and accessible to anyone (provided that there’s net connection)

Social networking is in trend.  Nowadays, people are spending most of their tmme connecting to social networking sites for friendship, kinship, relationship, likes and dislikes, even for business.  Through the existence of internet and web 2.0, social networking sites became a hot topic for easy conversation and getting in touch with people far from sight. With social networks, people are having the feeling of being close to everyone, getting updates and other information.  Facebook would be one of the best sites as of now.

Social bookmarking is a good way of managing data online, storing web pages, sharing it, and saving maybe for future references.  The data are all available in the internet which have certain keywords for it to appear when a user search/browse.  When the page appears, it’s now ready for bookmarking.

Online storage simply means managing and storing data online, through the net.  In here, a user don’t need a heavy disk or any data storage devices.  It is a good way of saving especially for people on the go from one place to another since it can be accessed anywhere, anytime

 

Wikis and RSS

 Wikis and RSS (feeds) are two product of the internet that provides updated information from blogs, news, either in writing, video or audio.  It allows people to access to frequently published data from different websites that can possibly be intgrated into one, limiting time for searching and providing related information.

Odosketch  provides an easy way of sketching, applicable to anyone especially for students at the grade school level.  It may serve as a step forward to those who want to hone their drawing skills.

 

YUGATECH

 

Yugatech is a site that offers reviews and news on the technology.  It’s actually my first time to encounter this one, I’m not really familiar with all of its features and functions.  But enen it’s my first time, I was able to appreciate its funtion.  Maybe now, I’ll get to use this system for techlogical updates and other information.

PREZI

 

Prezi – one of my favorite learning last term.  Honestly, this kind of making presentation boost my interest in preparing visual aids for class reports and even in the office.  It really helps!

Dropbox is the easiest way to store, sync, and, share files online.  Honestly, I’m not familiar with this site, I still have to check its functions.
GOOGLE DOCS

 

Google docs – a site that offers working online, storing files online, interact with other users in the same group online.  What’s I love about this?  I can access my data anywhere I go (provided that there’s internet connection :p)

1000Ventures is a good site for it has a lot of information in it, it’s like a one-stop-shop for business people and even to commoners who wants to venture into any business.  It provides tips, business success, skills etc to have a win-win scenario in the industry.

8. Top 5 Gadgets

First in my list would be a Digital Single-Lens Reflex (dlsr) because of its shutter, zooming, effects, and clear shots of images, etc.  It’s bulky compared to the usual digital cameras such as point and shoot for casual photographers, but still, I would love to have one.

Second would be an iPad tablet because of its feature, touch screen, handy compared to laptop, functions and so cute appearance. 

Third would be apple’s ipod touch 4th generation.  I actually do not have any intention of wanting this but since a lot of people around me have this, I also want to have lols.

Fourth would a PlayStation Portable (PSP).  I love playing with it, listening to music, and watching videos.  I’m a kid at ♥♥heart♥♥ that’s why it really fits me. :p

Last in my list, the ever reliable cellular phone.  I’m not actually in particular with the latest model, I just can’t live a day without it (guess i just dont want to 🙂 ) Below are current phones:

10. Surfing the Net Validating Exam

I’m familiar with almost 90% of the total items (“Bragging rights”-sir avila hehehe) since I already had Infoman but still, I was able to learn and add more to my knowledge in the use of internet through this validating exam.

Surely, the use of technologies will make myself fit more in today and the next days generation.  Since the world is currently being dominated by technologies and it is almost a must to go with it in order to live well and grow more, mingle with other people, work better, boost confidence and the like, learning the new technology will be of
